Ann Snape

Born in Wigan, England in 1951 Ann Snape started printmaking at the age of eleven. She studied illustration, design and visual communications at Manchester Metropolitan University gaining a BA Hons in 1974.

She worked for a regional arts board as a designer and illustrator then in arts marketing whilst continuing to produce and exhibit her own paintings, illustrations and prints. Her work has brought her into contact with many well known artists, galleries, designer makers and new media creative artists.

In addition to traditional painting she uses digital media to create powerful imagery for printed editions.
